Getting Help Through SPARC IT Support

If you've followed the steps in this article and still need assistance, never fear. Our intrepid IT support team are fully invested in the care (and repair) of the systems you use every day. There's only one email address you need to remember:
 

 

Important: You might know the direct email address of the IT Support team member you want to talk to, but we still need you to submit a ticket to ithelp@sparcsf.org.

Why? Through the awesome power of IT, not only does submitting to ithelp@sparcsf.org notify the entire IT team automatically, but it also creates a ticket in our ticketing system which allows us to track the request in an organized fashion. Organized fashion = best chance of ticket getting attention in the shortest amount of time. 

 

So what can SPARC's IT team do?

  • Set up a new monitor, keyboard or any other accessory
  • Solve network connectivity issues
  • Revive a computer that won't turn on
  • Get you set up with a new email address or alias
  • Grant you access to one of our services like Slack
  • Install new software on your system, or remove software you're no longer using
  • Problem solve issues with your desk phone, computer, or company-owned phone or tablet

And a bazillion other things!
