Getting Started with G Suite

How do I access my G Suite Services?

To access G Suite, download and install Google Chrome, (link here). G Suite works with all browsers, however in some cases functionality is reduced, so we support the use of Chrome only. This ensures everyone's experience is the same, and reduces the number of support tickets to IT.

Make sure you sign into Chrome using your @sparcsf.org G Suite account so your bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings are backed up. This protects your data in the case of theft, and allows you to sign into any other Chrome browser and have the same settings. When you sign in to Chrome, you are also automatically signed in to your other Google services. More information about signing into Chrome can be found here.

Once you're in Chrome, G Suite has many points of entry. Below are the methods we recommend, but this is not an exhaustive list. You have free reign to use whatever methods work best.

 https://apps.google.com/user/hub

This link takes you to an organized page where you can access all your G Suite services.

mail.sparcsf.orgcalendar.sparcsf.org, drive.sparcsf.org, sites.sparcsf.org, and groups.sparcsf.org

These are custom links that take you to a specific Google service. If you use a particular service often, you can use these as a bookmark in your web browser. (The non-customized links that Google provides, like mail.google.com, still work as well).

This icon can be found in the upper-right corner of most pages in G Suite. Selecting it will allow you to open a different service in a new window.
