Dialpad allows 2 kinds of transfers, Warm Transfers and Transfers (Blind). Warm Transfer allows you to speak with the caller you are transferring the call to first. Generally, it's a good idea to do a warm transfer. Transfer (Blind), also known as just Transfer, will directly transfer the call.
