Getting Started with Dialpad

  1. To request a Dialpad account, please reach out to IT at ithelp@sparc.co If you're also requesting a desk phone, include that info as well. (IT support will set up the desk phone when it arrives.)
  2. Look for an introductory email from Dialpad and follow the instructions to set up the account.
  3. Decide which applications you want to install. You have the choice of mobile apps (iOS and Android), and software for Windows and Mac. (There's also a Google Chrome app, but it doesn't have the same features and the desktop apps, so we don't recommend it.)
  4. Download the software here.
  5. Access your account settings by logging in here and performing the following steps:
    1. Double check that your basic accounting settings, like phone number and time zone, look correct.
    2. Record your voicemail.
    3. Update any additional settings. More information about those here.
    4. If you download the desktop software for Windows or Mac, you can download this Chrome extension. It allows you to call or text anyone with Dialpad directly from your Chrome browser by clicking on a phone number.
